What information do I need for a Golf Canada Handicap?

All players looking to compete in any British Columbia Golf Championship/Event must have an active Golf Canada Membership. Players are required to have all personal information listed below visible on their account: current email, primary phone number, date of birth, address.

Players who do not have this information listed in their account will not be able to register for an event until they have made the necessary updates. Note that it can take up to 24 hours for your account to update before registering for the spring tour events.

What if I am a beginner golfer that wants to start playing tournaments but I don't have a handicap ?

That's okay! We have a novice division for those who are new to the game or have a handicap of 20+.

How do I generate a Golf Canada Handicap Index?

Players looking to register for a British Columbia Golf Championship/Event must have a Golf Canada Handicap Index. Players can generate a handicap index by posting their round scores to the Golf Canada Score Center. A player will generate their handicap index after they post at least two 9-hole scores. It is important players post all of their scores to the Golf Canada Score Centre so they always have an accurate handicap index.
