Tournament Format
The Zone 3 & 4 Junior Girls Tour is designed to provide structured, competitive opportunities for junior golfers of varying skill levels. Players compete in divisions based on handicap to ensure fair and meaningful competition, while on-course groupings are organized by age to support appropriate pacing, development, and yardage.

To support player development and fairness, tournament groupings are organized by age categories, with each group playing yardages appropriate to their stage of growth and ability. All divisions follow standard rules of golf and tour policies, with an emphasis on sportsmanship, player development, and creating a supportive environment for junior girls to grow their competitive skills.
1
Championship Division (Handicap 9 and under)
This division is intended for advanced players competing at a high-performance level. Participants play stroke play with gross scoring, emphasizing competitive readiness, course management, and tournament experience.
2
Net Division (Handicap 10–20)
This division provides an intermediate competitive environment where players compete using net scoring based on their established handicap. It encourages continued skill development while maintaining fair competition.
3
Novice Division (Handicap 21 and above)
This division is designed for developing players who are building confidence and on-course experience. Competition structure prioritizes learning, pace of play, and positive tournament exposure.
*Disclaimer: Any player in the Net or Novice division that scores substantially lower than their handicap or skill level at an event - at the discretion of the Zone Chairs, may place the player in a higher division to support our vision of fairness of play.
